01Where to find it
02What the metrics show
| Metric | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Total responses | All-time submission count for this survey |
| Responses this week | Submissions in the current 7-day window |
| Positive / Neutral / Negative | Breakdown by sentiment |
| Average rating | Mean score across rated submissions (1–5) |
| Bug reports | Submissions classified as bugs |
| Feature requests | Submissions classified as feature requests |
| Revenue tier | Split by Enterprise, Paid and Free, where email is captured |
Each card carries a 30-day trend chart.
03Reading the responses
The table under the metrics shows each submission — text, date, email if given, rating, screenshot if captured, the priority it was routed to, and its intent type. Filter by rating, intent or status, and combine filters to narrow down.
04Splitting by feature or flow
If your embed uses data-context on the Inline, Thumbs or Bar formats, every submission carries that tag. Filter by it to read responses per feature:
feature:dark-mode— who thumbed up or down after trying dark modeflow:checkout-complete— post-checkout bar responseshelp-article:api-docs— inline feedback on one help article
05Getting the data out
Export CSV downloads whatever the current filters are showing, not the whole set.
06Branding the emails
Close-the-loop emails use your workspace branding. Set company name, logo URL, accent colour, footer text and sender name at Settings → Integrations → Surveys → Notification branding.
07Rotating the API key
Settings → Integrations → Surveys → Regenerate API Key. The old key dies immediately, so update data-api-key in every embed snippet or those submissions will fail.
